Our goal when you come out to Long Acres Ranch is to have real hands-on experiences with things you might not experience in a classroom or at home. (You can read more about our programs here--https://longacresranch.org/school-programs/) We are a small but mighty staff of three with a receptionist. We do our best to recruit volunteers (content experts) to help us deliver information, but that is not always possible.

We know there will always be issues, but roughly what time do you expect to be on the ranch property? (LCISD Buses will not leave the campus until 8:30am unless you are driving them.)

In consideration for and upon entry to the Ranch, each student, child, chaperone and adult assumes all risks incidental to the Ranch and the visit to the Ranch, including risk of lost, stolen or damaged property, premises defects at the Ranch, security problems, or personal injury, and releases the Long Acres Ranch, and its employees, agents, or volunteers, from any and all claims related there to and not withstanding their sole, joint, or concurrent negligence, liability or fault.

Long Acres Ranch is a charitable venue owned and operated by The Henderson-Wessendorff Foundation ("Owner"), a Texas Non-Profit Corporation.

*Upon reservation confirmation, we will ask that you send us a staff/student roster of everyone that will be coming to the ranch. *School staff needs to have their ID badges on, parents/additional chaperones must sign in AT YOUR CAMPUS and have a sticker (Raptor) BEFORE coming to the ranch. *We will provide liability waivers for parents/additional chaperones once they get to the ranch.
